an unusual departure for one of the cohorts of the pirate soul scene, arthur blackbeard hops onto another train, this time travelling in direction of indie. "my doorbell", by the white stripes, is a contemporary pop r&b anthem! the songs infectious lyrics are supported with megan martha whites raw organic drumming talent. the arthur blackbeard re-edit is perfect for the hip-hop heads. he also does a sneaky re-edit of a beck classic.
